Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are the backbone of our economy.

• 35 million SMBs drive 44% of the U.S. GDP.

• That means SMBs contribute roughly $12.3 trillion to the U.S. economy, annually.

• Yet, many face challenges when it comes to accessing, understanding, and adopting new technologies like AI.

• The SBA reports that 93% of SMBs see the value of business mentors, but only 28% of those businesses report using mentoring services.

SMB Town Hall was created to change that. Founded by AI Catalyst Jay Norris and his SMB teams, powered through partnerships with local Chambers of Commerce, we provide a dedicated space for SMB leaders to come together, called “Right Room” events; share insights; and explore how AI is shaping both business and everyday life.

We host SMB Town Hall events in markets across the country, using Jay Norris’ “Right Room” Theory, gathering 100–200 SMB founders for a curated experience built exclusively for business owners. Every Town Hall features:

• Thought-leader speakers who break down AI in practical, actionable terms.

• Local business panelists sharing real-world stories and solutions.

• Interactive AI demos designed specifically for SMB needs.

Our goal is simple: to put SMBs in the Right Room with the right people, at the right place, at the right time, to provide knowledge and tools to thrive in the age of AI.
